  14. We are living in a society where there is a mighty mobilization of public opinion against corruption. The questions often asked by the New Gen young people are that “are you for or against corruption”. No political organization, especially leftist, can justify corruption in any format. Because it will primarily drive away our future generation from politics out of dejection and it will create a generation those are politically insensitive to social issues and are vulnerable to communal forces. Moreover, they will become an easy prays to the predators of progressive forces.
The men/ leaders in politics must maintain certain accountability discipline and responsibility all through their political life. When the leaders are vulnerable to such accusations, obviously a lot of trash shall going to be showered by opponents on such leaders as well as the organization such leaders represent. What such leaders do is that they drag the image of the union itself to Gunpoint. The dent in credibility of the union created such things is not easy to repair.
Such things must be challenged within the organizational set up in a democratic way and a cleanup wizard must be activated to rejuvenate our self.
This is definitely not the end of the world.

Mr.Chennithala is dreaming to become Dy.CM or Minister for home affairs after his Kerala after his well bombastic Kerala Yathra which ended like bubbles. Ramesh Chennithala is finding it hard to fetch a ministerial chair to suit the buttock of KPCC President. Now grape seems like souring to him and he is reacting like old fox in our tales. It is all about sharing power &licking the sugar pot. If any noble heart believes that this entire drama is for the sake of us, the general public. God may save them from the fool’s paradise. Everything will be back to normal. And leaders will appear with newly made masks decorated with smiles all over it & will say to us we are suffering all this hardship for your for your sake. I don't expect any anonymous spineless creation spilling crocodile tears for me. You must understand that it is quite unethical to target individuals by mentioning their names without revealing one’s own name/identity in an open forum. If you think otherwise, I must express my sympathies about your standard of ethical values that you carry with you. Every discussion either open or otherwise must be charged with some positive energy. It must never lower down to the standard of a toilet literature.

This forum is expected to act as moving force to strengthen the leftist ideas and progressive thoughts of the people who have serious concern about our society.
That doesn't mean this forum is blind to the known /unknown vibrations in the society or dumb to the music those are alien to our well acquainted tunes.

BUT a person entering this forum must come in with an open heart .This forum is not a platform to tarnish individuals or to settle your individual vendetta or to impose any doctored thoughts those are harmful to society.

Nothing sated above establishes that this forum is intolerant to criticism. In debate you must try to prove (a) your point and not to stab down your opponent. In positive debate it is a crime to consider the person, you are encountering with, as an opponent. The entire process is meant to reach truth and to purify the thoughts of the both. It is a to and fro action. The person you are arguing with is your co-driver/ co-passenger who are travelling to the same destination. In short each and every debate must be a constructive one.

This forum is not at all a water tight compartment which is intolerant to impugn. It is open to all and all ideas and thoughts & debates, provided you are not guise in any hidden individuality and not trying to settle any secret vendetta.

That is why I was regretfully constrained to name you as a spineless creation.

As I stated above, I don’t meant to hurt your emotions, but you must understand very well that the people you had targeted had feelings and had a family which is not immune harsh words.

Next time, when you enter here may act like an individual with a strong character.

  28. It’s pretty long time since I visited this blog. It was because I was quite shocked to realise that, in this medium it is quite easy to manipulate and hijack a debate. All the so called intellectual debates are fakes and ARIYETHRA? PYARNJAZHY type debates. Everyone believes what they want to believe. Everyone say what they want to say. And such blighter even hallucinate himself even as TP. Disgusting megalomania isn’t it? They manipulate the debates to camouflage their secret vendetta in the guise of an intellectual debate by wisely cornering the core issue in debate and thus vomit their rotten and ill fuming ideas in this blog. I really was a new born in this virtual world. But now I know this is the way this world works & this is the order of the day. Most of the virtual debates are either semi cooked truths which damage our digestive system or distorted truths or sometimes even blatant lies. Thus they marginalize the main threats that stare at our society. As I said this is the order of the day and we have to cope with it and fight it out.
    There is no other go.

  29. KSFE SA citu 27th State Conference, a bird’s view:-

The entire program and speeches were soaked in the sorrow of the sad demise of our beloved frontline fighter, Comrade CBC Warrier. Indeed the vacuum generated with his absence was strongly felt all through the conference proceedings. All the leaders addressed the conference were well aware of the pulse of the situation.

As usual in inaugural speech Com. Thomas Isac elaborately narrated his vision about our company and its multifaceted scopes. He criticised the reactionary policies of UDF government.

In the afternoon session there was a seminar on “Indian economy-Its obstacles” which was inaugurated by Com. G Sudhakaran. In his inaugural speech he emphasised on acquiring energy from history to fight the new challenges that faced by our society. He narrated how bourgeoisie worked in India. He remembered the mighty role played by EMS in moulding intellectual psych of the communists in India, especially in implanting Marxist thoughts in Kerala. Com. Saji Cherian narrated how the corporate mafia and multinationals manipulate our thoughts with decorated and well disguised words and how they hide out their interests by manoeuvring even our languages by using visual and print media. Com. Chandran Pillai ruthlessly criticised UPA government for its head twisted policies in his sarcastic and piercing but humoristic speech. He pointed out the corruption in 2G KG & coal mine scams and explained how the corporate Mafia gaining undue advantages at the expenses of our public sector companies and insatiable appetite of the multinational corporate to grab and swallow the public sector. It was quite an experience.

  30. ALCOHOLISM IN KERALA (A debate in Vypin Jetty Dtd 17.07.13)

It is quite disturbing to find that most of the crimes, mainly atrocities against children and women or even their own son/daughters, the main driving force is alcoholism. Of course there are various other important contributing aspects as well. But alcoholism is one of the prominent factors or driving force that entice or tempt to such atrocities.

What are the reasons in recent hype consumption of alcoholism in Kerala? In close scrutiny we may shocked to find that there is constant hike in consumption of alcohol after the trumpeted ban of Arrack by AK Antony’s UDF government. What the ban did in society is that it glamorized the alcohol consumption. Till the ban consumption of alcohol was a concealed act and consumers are called drunkards. The ban of arrack wiped off the dogma attached against alcohol consumption. In pre ban period drunkard was faced a dilemma. He was constrained to convince and communicate others that he drank IMFL instead of arrack to thrive a slender appreciation and status. Now even our super star ask our youth “ Vaikittentha Paripady?”.

Now our new generation is free from dogma of alcohol consumption. AK Antony liberated them. Phenomenal growth in number of alcohol consumers in post ban period speaks in volumes.

Antony, the Great Xavier of Kerala.

Now you may decide. Whether AK Antony’s ban on arrack did any good to our society? (Debaters: Baiju PR,Simon KR&Sidhic NM )

  32. It is raining hard isn't it?

We all carries an infatuation with rain. Rain invokes some nostalgic memories. Sweet romances.Broken love, Blurred eye liners. Thrilling school days . Ha good old days.

Some of the present moments resembles a film “Hard Rain”. The hollywood product was comercilal film which failed in box office. The plot of the film centers around a heist and man-made treachery amidst a natural disaster in a small Indiana town. The tagline is "A simple plan. An instant fortune. Just add water." The film was not a financial success in the United States but fared better overseas and had good video sales, yet received polarized reviews.

What I am trying to say that each man/life experinces the rain in his/its unique way. Students celiberates Rain. Out door workers curses it. Farmers rejoice it. Lovers romances with it.Plants celiberates it.Fishermen in high seas fears it.Music time for frogs.
And so many emotions are associated with rain.

How do you feel when it rains friends.

  33. NEELAKASAM PACHAKKADAL CHUVANNA BHOOMI

This Malayalam film is taking an interesting turn to unconquered landscapes in many ways. The film really is road movie as claimed by its makers. The film narrates the story an individual searching for his identity and finally finds the same it in his “lover”?
Landscapes captured by the film are cynosure to eyes which sabotage all our conventional Malayalam film appreciation in so many ways. And kick almost all the so called sacred cows in the present Malayalam film industry. As far as I am concern this film discuss about concept of blurred identity of the new generation. Though this is a road movie it avoids all the so called familiar landmark landscapes in its aesthetical journey. It explores he untouched lands, untouched faces and untouched emotions. It is about an exploration of love, life and destiny.

Every man is born to a prison and the roads lead to freedom.
We are the prisoners in many ways (of ideologies, religion, system, society and even love) and in many perspectives. We have to liberate ourselves to happiness that erupted from within. Every life is a journey to that liberation.

Of course there are some flaws in the script. But it is a must watch movie. Don’t miss it and judge it your own.

I am ready to face the censure for being non-political with my opinions.

“Miss.Mamata Banarji in her zeal to establish her secular credentials in the eyes of West Bengal's Muslims-Who constitute close to 30% of the state's population- taken certain decisions that test the limits of constitutional propriety. This is the sum and substance of an order that a Division Bench of the Hon'ble Culcutta high court's judgement on 03.09.2013, striking down the state government's move to pay Imams and Muezzins. The bench decreed that it ran counter to Article 15(1) of the Constitution which enjoins on the state not to discriminate against any citizen on the grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth”

Justices PK Chattopadhyaya and MP Shrivastava disputed the government's claim that its decision was in the 'public interest' and also pulled it up for not adhering to set procedures to disburse the funds saying that this was tantamount to the misappropriation of the public exchequer.

The chief minister will have to answer these charges with arguments that are shown of self serving rhetoric. The real issue at stake is the deviation from the letter and spirit of article 15(1). But beyond the High court order, Miss. Mamata need to address her government’s record in implementing Sachar and Ranganath Mishra Commissions recommendations to improve the lives of the Muslims and her regim's failure to check the radicalisation of state's Muslim community. Latter was stark evident at a rally organised in Kolkota on March 30 by 16 Islamic Organisations”.

It quite shocking and heart breaking to know that how the politicians damages harmony of the secular fabric of our society,(which was skillfully knitted by our strong heritage and Great Leaders), for petty political advantages. They corner us to dangerous and helpless position. If you criticizes this you will be stamped as a hindu fanatic if you are born to hindu parent. In the same way you cannot criticize a ill fuming political decision favoring hindu community if if you are born to muslim parent. If you dare to do , you will be stamped as a muslim fanatic. Open spaces in our society are shrinking in an alarming way. Even in our news channel debates we may see the same phenomenon. Politicians are encashing on this by forcefully shrinking our open spaces in the society to express our opinions. Narendra Modi operates the same strategy, in other way around. Both Mamata and Narendra Modi playing same game with different cards.

I was just wondering how our next generation is going to fight this. The god may save them,if he is alive and some where around in this world.

A character portrayed by Nedumudi Venu in film “Aranyakam”(Scripted by MT) says “Do not play with fire . Who ever it may be!” . Now it sounds much more relevant and overwhelming.

  48. Modi Phobia:-

The hyperactive debates about Mr. Narendra Modi constrain me to try an old tiny tale told by a Russian grandma to her grand children to wipe of their fear about Demons. “If a demon tries to catch you do not run. Just stand still and stare at the eyes of the Demon. If you dare enough to stare at him, he will melt away and eventually will die and if you run, demon will hunt you down.”

The #*#*ing debates about Mr.Narendra Modi underlines the absence of Grandmas in our society. Our resplendent democracy is strong enough and quite capable to face any challenges that threaten its existence. Just look back to the history of this wonderful nation and its strong heritage. And how it survived the emergency period. Moreover, what happen to Smt. Indira Gandhi after emergency? Do not under estimate the power of Vox populi.

The people in the media, whatever maybe either print, visual or social, is creating an artificial phenomenal aura around Mr.Narendra Modi by stamping him as a ferocious beast that threatens our democracy.

If my social media friends are still saying that, our democracy is lying in the throes of final agony after the emergence of Mr. Narendra Modi. You make me Laugh.

  68. WORK ETHICS AND CASBA IMPLEMENTAION

We are on the verge of software migration. It is quite heartening to know that our company is stretching its wings to fly away to the new horizons those are opened up by real-time core application software. But there are some ruthless questions whirling around the workmen category like septic bees. It is really the way the software being implemented in our branches. Is it acceptable or can be accepted by any unions those are anxious to protect the welfare of the working class.

Of course BAS(branch Automation Software) was a unique revolution of its own. The drastic changes injected by the BAS software in the work ethics of the employees in KSFE were amazing. But we all know the migration to BAS software was through a well chalked out road map. The mammoth effort put in by the KSFE employees with their limited resources was highly applauded one. Even then the workmen category was the ultimate looser when compared to other similar financial services organizations because the promotion prospect and possibilities were not protected in any manner in KSFE when the work nature was changed drastically. This can be excused since the end result was much more efficient services to the customers which ultimately resulted the betterment of the company.
Now this is the time of another migration. This time it is branch automation to core solution. Is there any road map for this migration? Do anybody, any organization or trade union is aware of the master plan for the migration? Now around sixty one branches are running parallel software (CASBA) along with BAS. At this point of time we must discuss the following points for our own benefit and thus thrive for the good will of the company, as its end result.

    • What is meant by Data migration and software migration?
    • At present we working with the employee strength in tune with the productive councils study on the basis of BAS
    • Whether the company provides additional employees to CASBA branches since the work CASBA branches will multiply because the present CASBA is just a data entry mode.
    • Whether a time span is fixed for ending parallel run and if so when will it end?
    • In CASBA when entry is finalized the entire screen jerks and slide down and this is quite taxing to the eyes of the employees.

  69. .......continued
We can keep on adding questions at ones will because CASBA implementation to give sufficient room for such questions. Let us discuss these questions in a trade union perspective. We all know the present CASBA implementation is parallel run of software. At present the employees in KSFE is allocated on the basis of BAS hence allocation additional employees CASBA Branches is highly necessary because all of a sudden a massive additional work is imposed on CASBA branches. The answer to this outcry will be a well versed slogan. Every revolution is build upon the great sacrifices of the many. I know many men and women workers who sweated their blood out when we, The KSFE Ltd.,migrated to BAS. That was long preparation and a month long execution is what resulted on fine day in April almost all our branches were migrated to BAS. There was a well executed plan behind that success. Is there any chalked out plan for this so called software migration. How long these parallel data entry processes go in CASBA branches. I am totally blind and unaware in this aspect just like a man searching non existing black cat in dark room. Whether the management had discussed its plan with the employees by giving them enlighten with the strategies they should follow? If the management already won the confidence convincingly, that is well and good.

My real concern is about the CASBA implementation is the uncertainity in this parallel run of software . If it will prolong sine die, the employees working in CASBA initiated branches will suffer immensely because they had to do day today work in the branches twice. Many of my friends in CASBA branches miss the beauty of sunset forever since CASBA initiation.

I believe that none of the above statements suggest anything against the technology up gradation and reluctancy leave the comfort zone provided by BAS at the expenses of KSFE’s future. I totally agree that core solution is the only thing that ensure our future prospect and the real time management is the only answer for our success in an economy in which cut throat competition is the order of the day. Some top officials say CASBA is a prodigal son. But when it return to its home, is this is the mode of treatment we arrange for its reception. I really concern about the strategies that follow for the implementation of CASBA in branches. The prodigality cannot be covered by the ruthless and merciless exploitation of the employees. And this is the only point I am intending to suggest. Is right to celebrate the return of the prodigal son by slaughtering the the health and morale of the KSFE emloyees? This is a million dollar question. And what will be the end result. Unsatisfied customer, nose diving business etc. I will be the happiest man in the world if the point I suggested are found false and I hope my above implications be false.

I must be searching the non existing black cat in the dark room out my ignorance. I hope so. But I won't wonder if I found myself in the middle of many Brutes with knives aiming at my throats after this post. When somedody is hatching the idea to strangle the neck of the Golden Goose(KSFE), let us sing a nursery rhyme atleast, in protest.

If you feel this is thoughts of a pessimist. Sent the alert to the mafia to shoot me down.

“I shall continue to be a scapegoat even when others had every right to be that”
